a reasonable, good hotel if you have a reason to stay in this area
breakfast is good enough to fill you up but minus points for having too few choices of vegetable. complete bathroom amenities in the room, TV, wifi, fridge that stays powered 24 hours, kettle, hair dryer. comfortable bed. free luggage storage room. we enjoyed the summer Osaka festival which was held in the area then walk back to hotel.
1 small room saves electricity, but in this room we needed the doorway space to open 2 suitcases fully flat on the floor, plus a short bed if you're tall. 2. location, it's quite a long walk for tourists comparing to hotels in other locations in town, especially during summer heat from station to hotel many times a day.(JR Temma or Ogimachi station depends on your train pass). 3 check in time is 3pm sharp.

This is my Second time staying at an APA Hotel and I highly recommend!! Had a pleasant enjoyable stay!
Location!! 8 minutes walk to Temma Station. There’s a long shopping strip right next to this station. Very close to Ogimachi Park with its pretty Cherry blossoms. Very close to all the main stations like Nihonbashi/Namba etc with Temma station being just one station away from Osaka station. My hotel room was very pleasant and just right, not too small or big. IMO the room I was given looked much better than the one on the photos when I booked. The staff were lovely - friendly and helpful. At request they allowed me to leave my bags after checking out for a few hours. The Onsen availability was a bonus.
If you are carrying heavy luggage, that 8 minutes walk can be a little long. However there are Taxis nearby. They clean the room every day like make the bed, provide fresh towels and a robe but they only provide bottled water on the checkin day and no refills afterwards. I would’ve much preferred if they refilled water than other amenities. Housekeeping forgot to clean the bins out and as they are tiny bins they do get filled quickly especially with takeouts. I had to make a request to front desk to get it emptied. This didn’t both me much though. This has been mentioned in other reviews here. The sink was clogging up constantly. I managed to get by it but it did annoy me a little. The aircon was abit noisy. I wasn’t keen to make a fuss about this as I was out nearly all day and was just there to sleep.
